What can you offer? Let's see.

• Tokens: Worthless SPL tokens costing you rent with little to no realistic value.

• NFTs: Worthless NFTs and compressed NFTs taking up space.

Once you navigate to the JUNK page, everything worthy of being offered to the dumpster will be automatically shown to you. You can always use the search bar to find specific items.

🔥 The ceremony

Go to the JUNK page. Select your tributes. When you hit TRASH JUNK, the Dumpster ritual is executed on-chain. It involves closing your token account, and making your cursed coins and NFTs disappear into the bottomless void of the Dumpster. Your rent gets refunded.

If the Dumpster accepts your offerings, the recovered SOL will show up in your Junk.fun balance in the form of credits in your Junk.fun account. Your platform account is linked to your Solana wallet (see address in the top-right corner), and you can withdraw the credits to receive SOL tokens in your wallet at any time.

Credits can be withdrawn for SOL tokens in your wallet at a ratio of 1:1

💵 Rent recovery

Each token account costs about 0.002 SOL in rent. NFTs cost around 0.002-0.01 SOL (Magic Eden OCP NFTs are about 0.004 SOL).

The platform charges a fee to perform the offering ritual on your behalf. The rates are as follows:

• 2.3% for tokens

• 5% for NFTs

After fees are deducted from your recovered rent, the remaining SOL goes to your Junk.fun balance as credits.
