🎁Opening chests

Chests are where the real fun happens. When you open a chest, you're buying a shot at treasures that range from small SOL payouts and points, all the way up to legendary rewards worth thousands.

Nobody knows exactly where these chests came from. They just showed up around the Legendary Dumpster one day and never left. What we do now is when you open one, your odds of walking away with something more valuable are better than you think.

🔓 How chests work

• Each chest costs 0.001 SOL to open.

• Burning a token gets you 2 chests, while burning an NFT which lock more SOL on-chain gets you 4 chests.

• Each time you open a chest, you have a chance to win:

  • 500-5500 points

  • 0.001 - 1 SOL

  • Both

A portion of the fee charged to open chests is used to grow the chest and point lottery rewards pool.

🔍 Finding chests

Navigate to the CHEST page. You'll see the grand prize amount and the total prize pool size. Use the slider to select how many chests to open.

Then, hit OPEN CHEST and approve the transaction. You'll see the chest respond to your offering, and any treasures it bestows upon you will be immediately deposited to your Junk.fun balance.

NOTE: All values shown in SOL (pegged at $200) or points. Actual rewards will always come as SOL, points, or other spicy meme coins. Remember — you're feeding the Dumpster meme coin junk. Sometimes it spits meme coins right back.
